What is a virtual PBX?
A virtual PBX is a telephone system that is hosted by us in our data centre in London docklands, that connects to the standard telephone network. All calls are routed through our network then forwarded to the physical IP phones based in your hotel. That's it. The only restriction is that you can only have up to 800 extensions on one system. The rest is totally flexible and fully customisable to how you want your calls to be routed and your telephone system to operate.
What will your hotel need to get started
You will need to have a high speed broadband connection into your hotel, a network router or switch and the IP phones. The rest is all configured online by Hotelogy to your chosen specifications. If you do not have any of these above, Hotelogy can assist you in acquiring these to get started. Just contact us for more information.
Call Costs
As all of your calls are routed through your high speed internet line, so in turn call costs can be kept to minimum. Calls start from as little as 2p per minute (excluding VAT) and most of our packages are fully inclusive of minutes including telephone calls to European landlines, USA landlines and UK landlines.
